Nine years ago today, I said goodbye to my mother, as she lost a 3 1/2 year battle with ovarian cancer. I miss her so much. A better mother could not ever exist.
prayed for you so much on this day. I noticed the title of your post the other day and I will admit, I avoided coming to read it until I was in a better frame of mind. This was short and sweet... but definitely got my heart. I loved your Mom - she was an amazing lady. I still think of her and smile whenever we sing "Happy 1/2 Birthday, to you!" in our home. She was the ONLY cool mom I knew who did 1/2 birthdays :)
